We answered the request for bid from the Chicago Park District as they were preparing to quickly open access to their newer Natural Areas on Chicago’s Southeast side. These properties are important spaces for the health of Chicago’s ecology and its citizens. The Southeast side of Chicago has an industrial/brownfield history and is not perceived as a resource for recreational opportunities. The area needed a special branding, marketing and outreach effort which would support major sponsor REI’s Legacy Project
As part of our bid, we created two concept scenarios signing each off with the newly minted Chicago Park District branding. These concepts have not yet seen daylight, but we think they are very engaging.
