Opened in May 2025, Bradley 315 Sports Park is a 127-acre, $50 million premier sports and recreation complex designed to host large-scale youth baseball, softball and soccer tournaments across 16 fully turfed fields. With high visitor turnover, simultaneous multi-division events and a footprint spanning 1.2 million square feet, the ability to move thousands of first-time visitors quickly, confidently and independently through the complex would define the user experience and, ultimately, the park's reputation.
A comprehensive, hierarchical signage system developed in close collaboration with Kimley-Horn and the Village of Bradley became the strategic backbone of that vision. Monument gateway signs establish a bold sense of arrival, while color-coded vehicular and pedestrian wayfinding guide athletes and families from roadway through parking, drop-off zones and field clusters without the need for staff intervention. Each of the 16 fields is identified through a unified numbering and color-coding system aligned with tournament schedules and digital communications. Centralized kiosks and display boards support real-time event updates, keeping pace with the constant activity of multi-division tournament play.
Durable powder-coated metals, UV-resistant panels and anti-graffiti coatings ensure the system performs as reliably as the athletes it serves; tournament after tournament, season after season.
